‘Pathirathri’ Builds Buzz with New Song ‘Nilagamanam’ Ahead of Release

Kochi: The makers of the upcoming Malayalam thriller “Pathirathri” have released the film’s first promotional song, “Nilagamanam,” adding to the anticipation for the movie’s theatrical release on October 17th. The song, composed by Jakes Bejoy and sung by Chinmayi Sripada, has been praised for its atmospheric tone that aligns with the film’s genre.

Directed by Ratheena, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed “Puzhu,” “Pathirathri” stars Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles as police officers. This is the first time the two actors have been paired together, and Navya Nair’s debut in a police role is a major highlight of the film.

The movie’s trailer has been trending on social media, garnering over 4 million views on YouTube so far. It suggests that the plot revolves around a murder investigation, hinting at a gripping storyline with unexpected twists and turns involving family relationships.

“Pathirathri” has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board and is set for a worldwide release. The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Sunny Wayne, Ann Augustine, Athmiya Rajan, Shabareesh Varma, Harisree Ashokan, Achyuth Kumar, and Indrans.

The film is produced by Dr. K.V. Abdul Naser and Ashia Naser under the banner of Benzy Productions. The technical crew includes Shehnad Jalal as the cinematographer and Sreejith Sarang as the editor. The music rights for the film have been acquired by T-Series.
