Chennai : Leading South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan has addressed the persistent social media chatter regarding her impending marriage, dismissing the latest rumors with a sharp, sarcastic retort.
Taking to her Instagram story, the actress indirectly quashed reports which claimed she was preparing to marry a businessman from Chhattisgarh, a union reportedly agreed upon by both families who have known each other for years.
Trisha expressed her amusement at the relentless speculation about her personal life. “I quite like how people are planning my life for me. I’m waiting for them to schedule my honeymoon, too,” she wrote on her Instagram story, clearly indicating the wedding news is fabricated.
This is not the first time Trisha has had to respond to marriage speculation. Earlier, she had stated that while she would marry when she found the right person, the time had not yet come.
Trisha was previously engaged to entrepreneur Varun Manian in 2015, but the engagement was called off later. Reports at the time suggested that a disagreement over whether she would continue acting after marriage was the reason for their separation. The actress continues to be a prominent figure in the industry, delivering major performances and signing new projects.
