Thiruvananthapuram: Asian Games medalists Vidharsha K. Vinod and M.R. Arjun met Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and received congratulations for their achievements on the international sporting stage.
Vidharsha K. Vinod, who secured two medals in the women’s 500m rifle three-position event, and badminton player M.R. Arjun, who won a bronze medal, met the Chief Minister during their visit.
The athletes shared their experiences and achievements with the Chief Minister. Their performances at the Asian Games have brought attention to the contribution of Kerala athletes to Indian sport.
Vidharsha’s double-medal achievement in shooting and Arjun’s bronze medal in badminton mark notable accomplishments in their respective sporting careers. Their success reflects years of training, preparation and competitive experience.
