MUNNAR: Actor Joju George and a colleague sustained injuries after a jeep overturned during a film shoot near Munnar. The accident took place near the Lakkam Waterfalls on the Marayoor route while filming for the movie ‘Varavu,’ directed by Shaji Kailas.
Joju George and his colleague Shihas were injured when the jeep they were using for a shoot sequence lost control and overturned. Initial reports indicate that Shihas suffered fractures to his legs. Both injured individuals were immediately transported to the Tata Tea Hospital in Munnar.
Hospital sources have confirmed that both Joju George and Shihas are in stable condition.
