Kerala Sanctions Rs.15 Lakh Additional Fund for Raj Bhavan to Host Presidential Visit

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government of Kerala has sanctioned an additional expenditure of Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh Only) to the Raj Bhavan to meet the actual expenses incurred in connection with the visit of the Honourable President of India.

​The order, G.O.(Rt)No. 8356/2025/Fin, dated October 18, 2025, from the Finance (Budget Wing-F) Department, authorises the additional expenditure under the major head of account “3452-Tourism” – Sanctioned – Orders Issued.

​The amount of Rs. 15,00,000/- is specifically allocated under the Head of Account ‘3452 TOURISM, 80 GENERAL, 001 DIRECTION AND ADMINISTRATION, 99 Administration, 34 Other Charges, 3 Other Items (NonPlan – Voted)’.

​The order further instructs the Administrative Department/Controlling Officer to take timely steps to regularise this additional expenditure through Reappropriation of Savings only within the Grant before the close of the current financial year. The authorisation was issued by order of the Governor, signed by Preetha V S, Under Secretary.
