
Sharafudheen’s “The Pet Detective” Hits Theaters, Promises a Laugh Riot for Families
“The Pet Detective,” starring Sharafudheen and Anupama Parameswaran, has been released, offering a perfect blend of comedy and thriller that is set to entertain family audiences and children alike.
Kochi: Sharafudheen continues his successful run at the box office with his latest venture, “The Pet Detective,” which premiered in theaters today. Produced jointly by Gokulam Gopalan under the Sree Gokulam Movies banner and Sharafudheen himself under Sharafudheen Productions, the film marks the directorial debut of Praneesh Vijayan.
“The Pet Detective” is a fun-filled entertainer that revolves around Jose Alula, a detective from Mexico, his son Tony, and the Mexican underworld kingpin, Peter Mundack Sampai. The narrative skillfully weaves together elements of romance, comedy, and a parallel crime investigation track, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish.
Anupama Parameswaran delivers a noteworthy performance as the lead character, Kaikeyi. The film also features a strong supporting cast, with Vinay Forrt making his mark as SI Rajath. Veteran actor Vijayaraghavan shines in a distinctly different role as Dilraj, while Renji Panicker proves his versatility by excelling in the comedic role of Alula.
