
Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir’s Thriller ‘Pathirathri’ Set for October 17 Release
Kozhikode: The highly anticipated thriller “Pathirathri,” starring Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 17, 2025. The film’s audio launch was held amidst a large crowd at the Hilite Mall in Kozhikode, attended by the lead actors, director Ratheena, and other cast and crew members.
This film marks the second directorial venture for Ratheena, whose debut film was the Mammootty-starrer “Puzhu”. “Pathirathri” brings together Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir on screen for the first time, both portraying police officers. The recently released trailer has been a hit on social media, promising audiences a suspenseful investigation drama with deep emotional undertones. The plot revolves around two police officers, Jancy (Nair) and Hareesh (Shahir), who encounter a mysterious event during a late-night patrol that triggers a series of life-altering consequences.
The movie boasts a multi-star cast, including Sunny Wayne and Ann Augustine in pivotal roles. Other prominent actors are Athmiya Rajan, Shabareesh Varma, Harisree Ashokan, Indrans, and Kannada actor Achyuth Kumar.
Produced by Dr. K.V. Abdul Naser and Ashia Naser under the banner of Benzy Productions, the film’s Kerala distribution is handled by Dream Big Films. The music rights for the film have been acquired by T-Series for a significant amount.
