Paravur: The home turf of newly sworn-in Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan is gearing up for a historic celebration. A grand civic reception has been organized in Paravur today to honor his historic elevation to the top executive post. This marks his first official visit to his home constituency since taking the oath as Chief Minister.
Adding massive star power to the historic event, Malayalam cinema icon Mohanlal will attend the ceremony to felicitate the Chief Minister. The reception will be officially inaugurated by legendary lyricist and filmmaker Sreekumaran Thampi.
The grand function, organized under the banner of the Paravur Pauravali (Civic Committee), is scheduled to take place at 5:00 PM at the Samooham High School Ground.
As a token of the deep affection and pride of the local community, the first formal honor from the civic body will be presented directly to the Chief Minister. Given the high-profile nature of the event and strict VVIP security protocols, organizers have advised attendees wishing to greet or felicitate the Chief Minister to register their names well in advance.
