Kochi : Mammootty and Dhanush starrer ‘OM’ is all set to hit theatres on November 20, 2026. Confirming the new release date, Mammootty took to social media and shared a short but exciting message: “#OM See you all in theatres on November 20.”
The announcement has sparked fresh excitement among fans, particularly because ‘OM’ marks a major collaboration between two acclaimed actors from Malayalam and Tamil cinema. The film is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, best known for the blockbuster Amaran.
Mammootty plays Siya, also known as Burma Karthikeyan, in the film. His character teaser, released on his 75th birthday, offered glimpses of a layered and morally complex character.
Star-studded cast and crew
The film features Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela and Naseeruddin Shah alongside Mammootty and Dhanush. Naseeruddin Shah’s presence adds another major dimension to the cast, while Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela bring additional star power to the project.
Music for ‘OM’ is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, with cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K and editing by R Kalaivanan. The film is backed by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films along with Shraddha Agrawal and Azmat Jagmag.
