Kochi: Kerala Blasters FC CEO Abhik Chatterjee met Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan ahead of the new Indian Super League season and presented him with a Kerala Blasters jersey.
The club shared details of the meeting through its official Facebook post, describing it as a warm interaction ahead of the new season.
According to Kerala Blasters, the Chief Minister expressed his support and encouragement for the club and assured that he would extend his support to the team during the season ahead.
The meeting also focused on the promotion of sports in Kerala. Satheesan spoke about the government’s efforts to encourage sporting activities across the state, while also welcoming initiatives that Kerala Blasters may bring forward in Kerala.
Kerala Blasters are scheduled to begin their 2026–27 ISL campaign against Inter Kashi on October 11. Their first home fixture is scheduled against Mumbai City FC in Kochi on October 25.
