CHENNAI: Anticipation for Director Ananda Krishnan’s upcoming multi-language film, ‘Non Violence’, has reached a fever pitch following the release of its first single, ‘Kanaga’. The vibrant track, composed by music maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja, has not only electrified fans but also features a dazzling guest appearance by actress Shriya Saran, whose performance has been widely praised.
The film, which stars Bobby Simha and Metro Sirish in the lead roles, is set against the backdrop of a gritty 90s Madurai. Known for his intense directorial style in films like ‘Metro’ and ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’, Ananda Krishnan is set to deliver a realistic depiction of the social environment and real-life events of the era, focusing partly on the Madurai prison system.
