THRISSUR:In a devastating blow to the AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius Metropolitan, the head of the Thrissur Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, has launched a blistering attack on the veteran leader’s toxic factional politics.
Taking to Facebook, the influential Metropolitan tore into Venugopal’s alleged attempts to destabilize the newly formed state government.

He stands accused of weaponizing KSU (Kerala Students Union) activists to intentionally orchestrate protests and internal rebellion against the UDF government led by Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan, which has just assumed power after a decade-long hiatus.
