Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery 2026 is heading towards a mega-hit, with demand for tickets surging ahead of the much-awaited draw on September 26. In several parts of Kerala, tickets are reportedly becoming difficult to obtain as lottery enthusiasts rush to sales centres to secure their chance at the bumper prize.
The Thiruvonam Bumper, whose sale was inaugurated by Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan, has received a strong response from the public. With only a few days remaining for the draw, demand has intensified, leaving several outlets struggling to meet the rush for tickets.
Draw on September 26
The draw for the Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery 2026 will be held at 1:30 pm on September 26 at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram.
Health and Devaswom Minister K. Muraleedharan will inaugurate the draw ceremony. He will also launch the Pooja Bumper Lottery 2026 ticket during the event.
₹30 Crore First Prize
The biggest attraction of this year’s Thiruvonam Bumper is the massive ₹30 crore first prize. The lottery also offers several other major prizes, making it one of the most eagerly awaited lottery draws in Kerala.

First Prize: ₹30 crore
Second Prize: ₹1 crore each
Third Prize: ₹25 lakh
Fourth Prize: ₹5 lakh
Fifth Prize: ₹2 lakh

90 Lakh Tickets Targeted
Sales of the Thiruvonam Bumper 2026 tickets began on July 20, with the Kerala State Lotteries Department setting a target of selling 90 lakh tickets.
Each ticket is priced at ₹500. As the draw date approaches, the demand has increased sharply, with buyers reportedly moving from one outlet to another in search of available tickets.
