While a well-marked low-pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal off the coast of North Odisha, it is expected to move inland over Odisha and adjoining areas within the next 24 hours. The weather pattern in Tamil Nadu is an indirect effect of this system, combined with local wind conditions.
