Angels in White: VD Satheesan Commends Nurse Sinimol for Saving a Life with Timely CPR

Thiruvananthapuram: In a heartwarming testament to the dedication of the nursing community, Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan has extended high praise to Nurse Sinimol, whose presence of mind and timely medical intervention successfully snatched a person from the jaws of death.

The incident, which has been drawing widespread appreciation across social media and medical circles, highlights the critical importance of emergency life-support skills. Sinimol demonstrated exceptional professional excellence and bravery when a citizen suddenly collapsed due to a severe medical emergency. Sensing a lack of pulse and an immediate threat to life, Sinimol sprang into action without wasting a single second, administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Her relentless efforts stabilized the individual until further medical assistance arrived, ensuring the patient survived the crisis.

Chief Minister Salutes the ‘Angel of Mercy’
Reacting to the incident, V.D. Satheesan lauded Sinimol’s exemplary dedication to her profession. Chief Minister called Sinimol and congratulated for her commendable action. He noted that nurses are the true backbone of Kerala’s globally recognized healthcare system, always stepping up to serve humanity both inside and outside the walls of hospitals.

”Nurse Sinimol’s timely and courageous intervention is a matter of pride for the entire state,” Satheesan stated. “Without panicking during a highly tense situation, her professional training and human empathy took over, giving a fellow human being a second lease on life. This act reminds us once again why our nursing community is revered worldwide as ‘angels of mercy’.”

The Power of CPR Awareness
Medical experts across the state have also utilized this occasion to emphasize the necessity of widespread CPR training among the general public. Sudden cardiac arrests and respiratory failures require immediate bystander intervention, as every passing minute decreases the chances of survival. Sinimol’s heroic act is being cited as a textbook example of how immediate CPR can prevent brain death and keep a patient alive until advanced emergency medical services take over.
