Kochi : Yash’s much-awaited festive release ‘Toxic’ has witnessed a significant decline in its box office collections after opening with massive numbers on its first day. While the film crossed major milestones during its opening week, its daily collections dropped sharply from the extraordinary opening-day figure.
After seven days in theatres, ‘Toxic’ has reportedly collected ₹229.95 crore net in India, while its total India gross stands at ₹272.80 crore. The film’s estimated worldwide gross collection has reached ₹313.55 crore.
Day 7 Collection
On its seventh day, ‘Toxic’ reportedly earned ₹8.20 crore net across 12,894 shows in India.
Interestingly, the film performed slightly better than its first Monday collection, with discounted ticket prices believed to have contributed to the improved numbers.
The latest figures take the film’s India net collection to ₹229.95 crore, while its India gross has reached ₹272.80 crore.
Massive Opening Followed by Decline
‘Toxic’ began its theatrical journey with a spectacular ₹101.10 crore opening-day collection. However, the film witnessed a sharp fall in collections over the following days.

Day 1: ₹101.10 crore
Day 2: ₹37.65 crore
Day 3: ₹27.20 crore
Day 4: ₹25.15 crore
First Sunday: ₹23 crore
Monday: ₹7.45 crore
Day 7: ₹8.20 crore

Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹313 Crore
In the overseas market, ‘Toxic’ has reportedly added around ₹1.50 crore to its collections. With its domestic and international earnings combined, the film’s total worldwide gross has climbed to approximately ₹313.55 crore.
Despite the decline in daily collections, the film has managed to establish a strong overall opening-week total, largely driven by its massive first-day performance.
The KGF Effect and Yash’s Massive Fan Following
Yash’s rise as a pan-Indian superstar is closely connected to the phenomenal success of the KGF franchise.
When the first ‘KGF’ film was released in 2018, Yash was primarily known among Kannada cinema audiences. However, the film gradually developed a massive fan following through its theatrical run and digital exposure.
