SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025: Apply Now for Financial Aid Up to ₹20 Lakh; 23,000+ Students to Benefit

In a major boost for students from economically weaker backgrounds, the State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation has invited applications for the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship (SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha 2025-26). The program offers significant annual financial assistance, ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,00,000, to meritorious students studying from Class 9 up to the postgraduate level (including PhD).

This year, the Foundation plans to select a total of 23,230 deserving students. The deadline for online submission of applications is November 15.

Eligibility and Key Criteria

The scholarship aims to support Indian nationals across various academic levels:

  • School Students: Classes 9 to 12.
  • Higher Education: Undergraduates, Postgraduates, and Medical students.
  • Professional Courses: Scholars at IITs and IIMs.
  • Study Abroad: Financial aid is available for SC/ST candidates only pursuing Master’s or higher education at top global universities. (Diploma students are ineligible).

Reservation50% of the total scholarships are reserved for girls, and 25% for SC/ST categories.
