THIRUVANANTHAPURAM — Leader of the Opposition, V.D. Satheesan, has released a new book titled “Adam, Nee Evideyakunnu” (Adam, Where Are You?), a curated collection of his speeches delivered at various Christian church gatherings and conventions.

The book delves into Christian perspectives and philosophies, reflecting Satheesan’s deep engagement with the faith’s teachings. In the introductory note titled “Why This Book,” Satheesan shares that growing up in a diverse environment allowed him to develop a profound interest in Christ. He mentions that despite being a practicing Hindu, he has made it a lifelong habit to study other religions and read a chapter of the Bible every day.

From Viral Speech to Published Work
The title of the book is derived from a speech Satheesan delivered during a reception for Cardinal Mar George Jacob Koovakad in his home parish. The speech, which shared the same name as the book, previously went viral on social media for its insightful take on spiritual accountability and human nature.

A Message of Faith and Resilience
Within the pages, Satheesan expresses how the teachings of Jesus Christ have provided him with the self-confidence to stand firm in life without wavering or retreating. He highlights a core conviction that guides him:
”Be hopeful, for He who promised you is faithful.”
